Cold-rolled coils use hot-rolled coils as raw materials. During cold rolling, the rolled pieces are rolled below the recrystallization temperature. Generally, steel rolled pieces are rolled at room temperature. Silicon steel sheets with high silicon content have high brittleness and low plasticity and need to be preheated to 200°C before cold rolling. Since no heating is performed during the production process of cold-rolled coils, there are no defects such as pitting and oxide scale that often occur in hot rolling, and the surface quality is good and the finish is high. Moreover, the dimensional accuracy of cold-rolled products is high, and the performance and structure of the products can meet some special usage requirements, such as electromagnetic properties, deep drawing properties, etc. Cold-rolled coils are widely used in automobile manufacturing, electrical products, rolling stock, aviation, precision instruments, food cans, etc. General specifications: thickness 0.15-3mm, width 550-1530mm, coil outer diameter Φ1000-2500mm, coil inner diameter Φ410-610mm. Production Process
Cold-rolled coils use hot-rolled coils as raw materials, and their production process usually goes through the main processes of raw material preparation, cold rolling, heat treatment, smoothing and finishing.
Product performance
The difference between rolls and flat sheets is a cut package. Chilled coils are obtained by pickling and cold rolling hot rolled coils. It can be said to be a type of cold rolled coil. Cold-rolled coils (annealed state): Hot-rolled coils are obtained by pickling, cold rolling, bell annealing, flattening, and (finishing).
There are three main points of difference between the two:
1. In appearance, the general cold hard coiled plate is slightly black.
2. The surface quality, structure, and dimensional accuracy of cold-rolled plates are better than those of chilled coils.
3. In terms of performance, because the cold-hardened coils obtained directly from the hot-rolled coils through the cold-rolling process undergo work hardening during cold rolling, the yield strength increases and some internal stress remains, which makes the coil appear "hard" externally. It is called cold hard coil plate.
Therefore, the yield strength: the chilled coil is greater than the cold-rolled coil (annealed state), making the cold-rolled coil (annealed state) more conducive to stamping forming. Generally, the default delivery state of cold-rolled coils is annealed.
Uses of cold rolled coils:
Cold-rolled coils have good properties, that is, through cold rolling, cold-rolled strips and steel plates with thinner thickness and higher precision can be obtained, with high flatness, high surface finish, clean and bright surface of cold-rolled plates, and easy coating There are many types of processing, varieties, and wide uses. It also has the characteristics of high stamping performance, no aging, and low yield point. Therefore, cold-rolled plates have a wide range of uses and are mainly used in automobiles, printed iron barrels, construction, building materials, bicycles and other industries. It is also the best choice for producing organically coated steel plates.
Zhengde Cold rolled steel coil is made from hot-rolled steel coil as raw material, which is subjected to acid washing to remove oxide skin and then subjected to cold continuous rolling. The finished product is rolled hard coil. Due to the cold work hardening caused by continuous cold deformation, the strength and hardness of the rolled hard coil increase, and the toughness and plasticity index decrease. Deep processing requires annealing treatment.
Due to the lack of heating during the production process of cold rolled steel coils, there are no defects such as pits and oxide scales that often occur during hot rolling.
