Carbon steel pipe can be structural in nature or used in fluid, gas, and oil transmission. We stock carbon steel piping in ASTM A500, A53, and A106 specifications. The grade indicates the testing methods required for a given application.

SMLS pipe is produced by heating a round billet of steel and then piercing it with a bullet-shaped piercer, over which the steel is stretched. This is followed by rolling and drawing to produce the desired dimensions. The final product is hydrostatically tested, inspected, coated if required, and stenciled with the specification.
